On Wednesday the Nampa Police Department had all their full time and reserve officers sworn in. I thought it was pretty cool with the whole production. They had the chief and deputy chief speak, then they introduced everyone and all the guys that were getting sworn in introduced their families and said a little about themselves. Following that the mayor swore them in and that was it. It was kind of cool to be apart of the Police department family. I hope Doug really enjoys it and there seems to be a lot of good people envolved.

That's exciting stuff! I remember last year you talking about this being a big goal for you guys. Good job! So is he full-time? I'm kind of biased toward police officers-my step-dad has been one for many, many years and chief of police for the last five. He loves it, but mostly I think because he gets to carry a gun.
He is just a reserve officer now which means that he is a volunteer Police officer or that he works for free. IT is O.k though because it just means that when they hire again and Doug is finished with reserve training he will be able to just transfer over. So when that day comes it will be really great.

We got this COOL tie for Christmas that has a picture of a cop on it and it has your name written ALL OVER IT! Re-gifting is AWESOME!
Ugh, Sarah, I don't know if even Doug will wear that tie. I don't know why Lester gave that to you.
