Passed Due on Mother's Day

Mother's Day was a good day. I was so happy that I had some special tuffles to give out to all of ladies in the family. I have fun making these even though it took until 2:00am to have every thing finished and cleaned up. My sister Corin is really creative. She made little wrappers out of tin foil for the truffles by using a plastic liter soda pop lid and forming the tin foil around it. Then since we did not have any ribbon her idea was to use some of my extra pink material and cut it into strips. The plates turned out pretty cute I thought.

As far as the whole Mother's Day experience it was O.K. I was pretty emotional and was really picky over some things with Doug, and then at the Mother's Day dinner with the fam my sis Katie wripped off part of my eyebrow with the waxing stuff she brought. Don't worry Katie I really wasn't mad at you. Eyebrows do grow back, I was just already having some selfesteam issues that night.

Well, it is nice to have holidays come and it is also nice to see them go. I just need to figure out what I am going to do for Father's Day now.

Trampoline

These are the last videos that I got before the trampoline broke. I am so said. That trampoline provided some really fun family time and great exercise for the kids. I am sad that the kids won't have it for the summer. 

Right after I took this last video, Doug decided that it had been a while since he had done a back flip. So all the kids got off the tramp and he proceeded to jump as hard as he could. Right on the first of his second hard jump the trampoline wripped from on end staight done to the other. Doug went right through and down to the ground. 

Thankfully the kids were not on.

I don't think it would be so bad if I were able to actually get more than 3 hours of sleep. Due to awaking from someone calling or my husband getting home, my brain has been going into hyperdrive and sleep, is not possible.

Last night I finally got to sleep between 11:00 and 11:30pm, awoke at 12:30 from phone call needing help. Tryed going back to sleep but daughter sick needing medicine. Not able to get back to sleep Read scriptures for an hour. Husband came home at 3:00, watched Smallville with him. Tryed to go back to sleep. Unsuccessful until 6:00. Awoke from alarm clock at 6:10am to get ready for babysitting at 6:20am. Children came and I started movie. Slept till 7:30. All other children wake, no more sleeping. Lucky me.)
