I really like making cakes now. I get excited about doing something different each time. I am not incredibly creative but I have time to work on that. I made this cake for the Easter party for preschool on Wednesday. After using some premade frosting on the last cake I did, I realized that the taste of it was not that great so if I have that time I will probably make my own frosting with each. This cake was really simple. I used a design triangle to make the line along the sides of the cake, added a decorative boarder and some simple dot flowers. Good enough for a nights work.

I love your cake! You did a great job! There is some silly sort of satisfaction that comes just from decorating a cake. I can spend hours on a cake and love every minute of it. Looks good :)

Wasn't it you that competed in a triathalon, and makes the most gorgeous cakes, and sews her little girls' dresses?
