We left for Idaho Falls at like 8:00pm (officially getting on the road) and we got there around 12:30am. Thanks to grandma Pingel for giving up her bed for us in the master bedroom to accomodate us. We had a bed to sleep in but we forgot to bring our pillows and ended up using blankets for the pillows. Also Miah cried a good amount of the drive there and even when we got settled in she did not get to sleep until 4:00am. I would say it was a really bad night.
The kids decided to wake up the following morning at 7:30am and I did not understand what was up because they didn't get to sleep until late. I just could not get them to let me sleep any longer so I got up with them and chased them around for the next several hours. The morning was alright and we got ready and made it to the church on time.
The service was great, the blessing was good, and I actually got up and bore my testimony. It is funny and I'm not gloating, I just always think about what I said after and I cringe a little because I didn't make everything make sense to the people that are listening. What I do know is that Heavenly Father answers our prayers and He loves us and knows us and our needs.
We had a great meal afterward and got on the road again 5:30, making it back to our house around 10:30. I was so happy to be home. I love my bed. I love my pillows.
Anyways the reason I have these pictures up is because Grandma Pingel was trying to get rid of some of her stuff and had us pick out some things to take. I picked out a couple of things including this. I don't know what it is for or how you us it. I was hoping that someone else would know and be again to enlighten me. Or you could just guess and pretend you know what to do with it. I don't mind either way.

looks like a mellon baller to me. I'm not sure about the weird shaped end, though. it looks interesting!
Looks like a mellon baller to me also. Might want to look on the internet and see if you can find something similar.
Just thought, it might be a butter curler, to make fancy butter for a fancy table. Just an idea.
So I looked up on the internet to see what it might be and low and behold there it was,http://www.storeshop.com/images/butter-curler.jpg
Chalk one up for me ;o)
Your mother has a wealth of
knowledge. Some things she doesn't even know she knows, but still, she knows.
That's awesome.
Now get to makin' some curly butter!
